Plumbers. The call you miss is the job you lose.

While you are on the job, the line picks up, gets the address and the problem, and texts you the job before you are back in the truck.

We cover the DC metro: Northern Virginia, Montgomery and Prince George's County, and the District. One truck or eight.

Example call. Not a customer recording.

  • No voicemail to chase
  • No job you never heard about
  • No customer left talking to a beep

If the phone is how the work comes in, this is for you.

One truck or eight. Whether you run drain work, water heaters, or emergency callouts, the phone is the same problem.

Who builds it

A working software engineer builds your line and keeps running it after you sign. Not a call centre floor, and not a settings screen you configure yourself.

What you buy

One thing: the phone gets answered and you get told what was said. We do not sell you leads and we do not sell your calls to anybody.

Where we work

The DC metro and nowhere else. If you are outside it, we will tell you on the call instead of taking your money.

Whose number it is

Yours, and it stays yours. The line we build sits behind it and takes only the calls you do not pick up.

Here is what actually happens.

No percentages. One call, one Tuesday, on the phone in your pocket.

You never found out the call happened. That is the part that costs you.

It picks up the calls you cannot. Every time.

You are not ignoring the phone, you are under a sink or up a ladder. It is an AI and it says so on the call, and it knows your hours, your rates and what counts as an emergency, so you hear about a burst pipe now and not in the morning.

  1. 01

    It picks up.

At two in the morning on a Sunday, the same as on a Tuesday. Every call you do not get to.

  2. 02

    It asks what is wrong.

What has happened, where they are, and whether the water is still running.

  3. 03

    It writes the job down.

Name, number, address, and the problem, in the same shape every time.

  4. 04

    It texts it to you.

The whole call, on your phone, the second it ends. Nothing to chase.

A text you can price. Not a voicemail you have to chase.

A voicemail is a job you still have to chase down. A text with the address and the problem is a job you can price on the way to the truck.

Every call gets written down the same way, so nothing lives in your head or on a scrap of paper in the door pocket.

Your software probably already has one of these.

It does, and it is cheap. The difference is not the software. It is the column headed you.

Voicemail

  • Set upAlready done. It came with the phone.
  • ScriptWhatever you recorded, a while ago.
  • UpkeepNone. It says the same thing in February as in July.
  • WatchingNobody. A missed call with no voicemail leaves no record.
  • The caller getsA beep, then the next plumber on the list.

The add-on in your field software

  • Set upYou, in a settings screen you have not opened in a year.
  • ScriptYou write it, and rewrite it when it gets something wrong.
  • UpkeepYou, every time your hours or your rates move.
  • WatchingYou, if you remember to go and look.
  • The caller getsWhatever you told it, the last time you told it anything.

Us

  • Set upWe do. Twenty minutes of your time, once.
  • ScriptWe write it from how you already answer. Then you ring it and change anything you would not say.
  • UpkeepOurs. You tell us what moved, we move it.
  • WatchingOurs. Every call comes to you written down, so you can check it yourself.
  • The caller getsPicked up instead of voicemail, asked what is wrong and where, and written down to you before they hang up.

None of that is about which one is cleverer. It is about whose job it is at nine on a Friday night, when it says something to a customer you would not have said.

From this call to a line you can ring, by day one.

Nobody wants a project. It is twenty minutes on the phone, then a number you ring yourself before any customer ever does.

  1. Day 0 · 20 min

We listen to how you already do it.

Your hours, your service area, what you charge for a callout, what counts as an emergency, and what you want the phone to say when you cannot get to it.

  2. Day 1

We build the line and you ring it yourself.

We hand you a number. You call it and listen to it handle a job. If it says a single thing you would not say, we change it before it ever answers a customer.

  3. When you say so

    You forward your line.

Nothing on your end changes until you decide. You keep your number. It forwards to the line we built, on the calls you do not pick up.

Open your phone and count last week’s missed calls.

Do not take our word for any of this. Every carrier and every handset keeps that list. Ten seconds, and it is the only number on this page that is actually yours.

We are not going to tell you what that number costs. You have been quoting callouts for years. You already know.

You are going to ask these on the call anyway.

Will it sound like a robot?

It is an AI and we do not pretend otherwise. Ring the number we build you and decide for yourself: that is the whole second step. If it does not sound right, we change it before it ever answers a customer.

It says something wrong to a customer. Then what?

You tell the person who built your line and he changes it. Not a ticket, not a queue, and not a settings screen you have to go and learn. One line, run by the person who wrote it.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number. It forwards to the line we build, and only on the calls you do not answer, if that is how you want it set up.

What happens on a real emergency?

It is told what you count as an emergency. Those calls get flagged as urgent the moment they come in and you hear about them straight away, instead of finding out in the morning.

Are the calls recorded?

It says so at the top of every call. Maryland needs everyone on the line to consent, Virginia and DC need one. Saying it every time covers all three, and your trucks cross those lines daily.

Can it put jobs on my calendar?

That depends on what you already use. Ask on the call and we will tell you straight whether we can wire into yours.

What does it cost?

We go through it on the call. It is a flat monthly fee and there is no setup cost. What it comes to depends on what you want the line to do, so we quote it live instead of putting a number on a website that might not be your number.

Who is this for?

Plumbing companies in the DC metro. If you are somewhere else, book the call anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

What do you need from me to get started?

Twenty minutes on the phone and your service area. That is it for the first call.

Book a call. Twenty minutes.

It is the only thing this page is asking for. Pick a time that is not in the middle of a job. Evenings are fine.

Calendar not loading? Email hello@goeasybiz.com with your company name and the best time to reach you, and we will send back three slots.

What happens on it

  1. 01You tell us how the phone works now. Who picks up, what happens after five, what you do with a voicemail.
  2. 02We tell you what we would build and what it would say. If it is not worth it for you, we say that instead.
  3. 03You decide. No deck, nothing to sign on the call, and nobody rings you back for six weeks afterwards.
